Noisy Cow Theatre Co is back with another Silly Summer Shakespeare! This year, we're bringing 'The Merry Wives of Windsor West Yorkshire' to a venue near you.
When codpiece Sir John Falstaff arrives in West Yorkshire short on money, he plots to fix his problems by wooing two wealthy, respectable, married women - Mistress Ford and Mistress Page - by sending each of them an identical love letter. But the witty wives quickly spot his scheme and decide to teach him a memorable lesson. With disguises, misunderstandings, and a final moonlit showdown deep in a forest, the story races toward a heartening conclusion.
