Experience the classic Christmas tale with our immersive performances of 'A Christmas Carol,' taking place at the enchanting Huddersfield Parish Church on the 19th and 20th of December. Delight in this dynamic new take uses the mediums of puppetry, physical theatre and ensemble craft, to portray the story we all know and love through a new lens.
A boardroom, a narrator, three ghosts and one desperate spirit.
Ebenezer Scrooge was a squeezing, wrenching, grasping, scraping, clutching, covetous, old sinner! No warmth could warm him, and no wintry weather could chill him.
And yet, Jacob Marley has turned to the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future anyway – to ask for help only they can give.
With three spirits on board, and a reluctant narrator along for the ride, the challenge is set: help Scrooge change his ways. Preferably in a way that doesn’t produce too much overtime.
